traveling artist

There was a traveling artist that visited Fairfield for about 6 weeks.  Her name was Meg Dickason.  Eric said, "I liked how when she was talking or teaching she would jump around and make funny noises.  She would do random things that would make us all laugh."  I saw a lot of her art in the halls.  It was really impressive!  Here are a few of the pictures from Mrs. Coleman's website.

**She visited with the entire school.  I will ask Mimi what she thought of her as well and add her thoughts later.  She is a sleepy head and isn't up yet.**

Okay, she's up now.
Me:  "Mia, what did you think about Meg, the artist?"
Mia:  "I thought she had a lot of cool stuff.  She has big, big stuffed animals."

Mia brought home these yesterday.  She said she wanted to do a little scribbling.  Mission accomplished!!

Inspired by Meg?  Quite possibly - or she's just working out some aggression.

Is that the lady who travels all over and gets her stuff at second hand stores? She seems like a bunch of fun. She's must be pretty amazing too, because i never thought I'd see E in a Kimono-looking-thing and cat glasses. Nice pictures! I can't wait to hear what Mimi thought!
