SCHOOL!!!
School is just typical America saying we "need to stop being couch potatoes and do something useful like writing an essay about global warming." So you can say we are just trying to solve world problems and politicians can't bother us because we are only "fellow Americans" to them. 
After school, comes the typical teenage sport of "Who Can Sit On A Couch For The Longest Time Until Parents Get Mad." Who knew you can play "Family Feud" at home? Dinner is usually a time when a typical American family sits down and eats food. This can result in danger if process is not followed correctly. Then there is homework, the one word phrase every American kid dreads. 
Then it is time to go to bed. All in all, Americans are just one big happy family that like a weird sport called football and borrowed food like the hamburger. --Posted by Haley

HT, there's nothing "typical" about you. Were you practicing your irony skills in this post? Just so you know, I did very much enjoy reading it and you sure picked some nice vintage pics. Question Haley: Were you conceived in 1940 but frozen embryonically such that you're 16 in 2011, but have an uncanny affinity for the 40's? Love, Dad
