We had a math test on Thursday and it was so long that it took two people the whole school day! We focused and did a pretty good job on it.
We have collected 700 bottle caps now. We're collecting them for Imagination Station so they can make a mural. We're surprised we have so many already.
We have started getting raffle tickets for doing good on tests. If our teacher picks the number on our ticket we get a prize. This week's winners are Brianne, Lucas, Eric, Desirae, and Savanna.
There is a super moon happening on Saturday. It's the closest that the moon is going to be to Earth. We're hoping for a clear night so we can see it.
We're reading Maniac Magee and there is one part about Butterscotch Krimpets so we got some. They taste like cupcakes and they're really good.
Colin was our V.I.P. this week.

**I want you to take notice of the picture. The kids are holding their prizes from the raffle. Eric is holding a krimpet (Yes, I said krimpet!). Also, look at the placement of the dice Lucas is holding. Do you think the 5th graders let that go? I think not! Eric could hardly tell me without cracking up. I love kids!

The dice...no comment. He should just know better than to do something like that in the fifth grade!! Am I mistaken or is Eric holding a moist and fluffy sponge cake accented with legendary butterscotch icing??? I had no idea what a krimpet was. This blog is both funny and educational. We should win a prize. Well, you should at least.:)
