Gobbler Issues

Wanna know something funny guys?  When I was talking to Mom on my cell phone, I was using the headphones.  They have a microphone one of the wires, and I was laying in bed talking to her.  Well, suddenly, she said she couldn't hear me anymore.  So I checked, and the microphone had migrated to under my gobbler!!!  So be ware of the dangers of trying to communicate through your gobbler.  Take it from me, it doesn't work very well.  Haley, I hope this gives you a good laugh on your SWEET SIXTEENTH BIRTHDAY!!!  Happy Happy Birthday Haley!  You've been a blessing to us for 16 years now!  Hope you have a wonderful birthday!  I love you very much and am sorry I am going to miss the festivities.  Eat some cake for me!
Love, Dad

i have a problem . . .

. . . and its name is McDonald's Premium Chicken Sandwich (grilled)/Diet Coke/Zone Bars (Double Dark Chocolate).  All three of these vices were satisfied before 1:30pm today.  I  blame the Diet Coke problem entirely one you, Robert.  I blame the Zone Bar problem a little on you, because you introduced me to them, but the McDonald's problem?  That one is all my own.

Unfortunately, that problem is creating this problem.  Uh oh!  I guess I am going to have to kick the habit.

In other news . . . I am sure Gary is dead.  I am going to dig a hole in the backyard.  I don't have the heart to throw him in the trash.

In other REALLY bad news . . . Quinny's tent is breaking down in the worst possible way.  And I don't want to break down and buy a new one.  I'm not sure what I am going to do about that.

In GOOD news . . . Haley turns 16 tomorrow and I am going to get a really good cake for her!  I am sure I am waaaay more excited about this than she is.

circle sammy.

Hello.  This is Robynie.  I was reading the post about the lunches and came across "circle sammy a.k.a. Uncrustable," and it reminded me of my dream.  Mom already knows about this dream since I told her yesterday.  Anyway, my dream was that I had to eat an Uncrustable.  There was too much peanut butter and it was gross.  Mom said I must really hate Uncrustables.  :)

it was a 4 pack alarm

I have a great sense of satisfaction when I see this in the morning - their lunches all lined up.  Knowing that they are fed, mostly with nutritious food - some days more than others.  Mimi wanted a circle sammy, a.k.a., an Uncrustable.  Who knows what's in that?  Eric got leftover pizza and H & R got bagels.  Like I said, some days are better than others.

Mimi made this mask last night.  She saw someone make one on TV and thought she would give it a try.  Very cute!

We miss our Dad!

No snow here

Hey everybody,
Just thought I'd send a picture of the new AZ home that I took right after I got here. I hear there's going to be some snow in Maumee, but definitely not here in AZ...this time of year here is pretty nice. I hope to have it all fixed up inside and out when you come. I'll take some pictures tomorrow at work so you can see what my new hospital is like. I sure am excited to see you all the next time I'm able to come. I hope to find out a little more about when that will be tomorrow. And Mimi, maybe Mom and I will get into a little fight before I come so we can make up at night with sloppy kisses!!! You are so funny and cute. I miss you all and hope all is well! Goodnight!!

my new love

Everyone is sleeping . . .

"I'm Swimming"

a monkey, a snail, and cheerios

Here's Quinny, just to make you smile. If you look closely you can still see the goose egg on her forehead.

Good Morning! But not for the snail. You really can't tell from this picture, but I think Gary is not pretending this time. The reason I think it's different this time - he is out of his shell and puffy. He has never done that before. I am sure that if I turn around and look at him now he will be happy and sucked right back on his tank. Crazy snail!

This is what I found in the sink yet again. Our sweet Haley is going to be 16, count it, 16 on Tuesday. Can she judge how hungry she is in the morning and pour a bowl of cereal accordingly? I'm still waiting for that day to arrive.
